On Saturday October 4, 2014 Scout Troop 622 from Bothell Washington helped clear grass, moss, other plants and debris from 5 foundations in the 248th Field. 4 of them were for Mess Halls, the 5th had been a latrine and shower building. The mess halls had had brush cut back before, but it's been many years since the cracks in the concrete had been scraped clean, if ever. The latrine may never have been cleaned since it was torn down in the 1970s.
